Are prices in US currency?

Yes, all prices are listed in U.S. dollars. All payment is expected in U.S. dollars.


Can I cancel or change my order?

Yes, as long as your order has not been shipped. Please contact us immediately to cancel or change your order.


How long does it take for an order to be processed?

All orders will be processed within 48 hours of receipt, in the order that they are received. Please allow extra time for orders to be processed during Holiday peak time.


What is your shipping policy?

All purchases are supplied as described but may be returned for a refund if the customer is not completely satisfied. Please notify us within 48 hours of receipt if you wish to return. Refunds will be given for items returned in the same condition as shipped. Please repack the item to ensure it is returned in this condition. Refund will be initiated upon receipt and inspection of returned item.

All returns must be pre-approved and returned within 10 days of delivery. Any refunds credited will be for merchandise only, no shipping charges. The whole purchase cost including two-way shipping & handling will be refunded if defective, inaccurate or shipment is damaged.

There will be a 10% Handling Charge for returned non-defective items.


What is your shipping policy?

We ship USPS; our charge includes any applicable handling charges. For books, media mail is $3.99 for the first book and .50 cents for each additional item. Priority shipping for most books is $6.99 for the first book and $1.50 for each additional. Oversized items may require additional postage. For tea products, charges are calculated by postal zone based on shipping addressed entered. We will contact you about any price change before items are sent if the charges are higher than we originally quoted you.


Can you mail to prisons.

Tales and Tea will ships directly to correctional facilities all over the U.S. and can also assist inmates with special orders. Please familiarize yourself with the regulations of the facility to which you are shipping before purchasing the books so we can give you the best service possible. Some facilities restrict content, amount of books mailed at one time, and/or disallow used books. Make it easy on yourself by consulting with the jail or prison, before letting us ship the books.


How do you protect customers information?

When you place an order, your information is transferred using a secure server. The web site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. We use SSL encryption to protect your information. We do not share or sell customer information.
